Accessibility & Diversity.

Here at PeakeFest, it’s of utmost importance to us that our business festival is as inclusive and diverse as possible. We want everyone to feel valued and safe, and pride ourselves on making the event as accessible as possible.

Not only did the new jumpsuit look good at the afterparty
© but I felt like I saw myself and
enjoyed myself for the first time in a long time.felt like things are finally starting to emerge through the surface and if I keep going, greatness is not far away. Most of all I want to thank Taz for vour infinite patience to get to this point and Nicola for seeing another Brummie doing a thing!

I attended PeakeFest on a whim and was initially nervous (as any trans person can be in these times) However as the conference continued and my nerves settled, things turned out pretty good. Gender neutral toilets weren’t an issue, everybody was friendly and really interested to talk about…anything! I also met so many faces I only seen in Zoom rooms and socialise with too. Overall I would recommend to anyone to attend…and I believe it will only get better.

Diversity.

We understand the importance of diversity and inclusivity, especially for marginalised groups.

Our team is actively working to ensure that PeakeFest is a space where every voice is heard and respected, and where everyone can enjoy the event without fear of discrimination or discomfort.

Join us in celebrating diversity and creating an atmosphere of true inclusivity and belonging!

Community Conduct Policy

At PeakeFest, we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. We value diversity and uphold the highest standards of respect and dignity in all our interactions.

To ensure that all participants—regardless of gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, or religion—feel safe and respected, we strictly prohibit any form of harassment or disrespectful behavior.

Any conduct or language directed at individuals or groups that is discriminatory, harassing, or harmful will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, offensive verbal comments, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Violation of this policy is grounds for immediate removal from the event without refund and may result in a ban from future events. We reserve the right to take any further action deemed necessary to maintain a welcoming and respectful atmosphere.

By participating in this event, you agree to abide by these guidelines and help promote a safe, inclusive environment for all attendees. If you experience or witness behavior that contravenes our community standards, please report it immediately to our event staff.

We appreciate your cooperation and commitment to these principles.

Sensory Space

At PeakeFest we are passionate that everyone has the right to feel safe welcome and included.

We work hard to make our events inclusive, accessible and diverse. This includes

 • Respecting pronouns and avoiding assumptions.

 • Providing pronoun options on badges and offering non-gendered facilities.

 • Ensuring our stages and spaces are accessible for less mobile people and wheelchair users.

 • Using hearing loops and planning for captions as our audience grows.

 • Gathering attendee accessibility and inclusivity needs in advance to make sure everyone is properly supported.

Representation on stage matters. Our line up reflects diversity across gender identity, POC, disability, LGBTQ+ and class.

Inclusivity is not a tick-box for us. It is the whole approach. We may not get it perfect every time, but we work hard, listen, and take action to improve with every event.

Sensory Space

There will be a separate space for you to use if you want to get away from the main areas. This will be available throughout the whole event.
